Govt. of India had introduced MEIS (Merchandise Exports from India Scheme) under FTP 2015- 2020 in place of 5 export benefit schemes as was under FTP 2009- 2014. FTP 2015- 2020 was announced on 1st April 2015, whereby, list of products covered under MEIS were notified.
All Plastics Processing Machineries were rewarded under MEIS at 2% incentive for exports to “Country Group A” and “Country Group B”. Govt. of India, Directorate of Foreign Trade has additionally rewarded 110 more items and has extended rewards to 2228 items vide notification Public Notice No. 44/2015-2020 dated 29th October 2015. All Plastics Processing Machineries have now been rewarded 3% incentive for exports to “Country Group A” and “Country Group B”. Notification and Country Groups are as in enclosed Annexure I and Annexure II, respectively.
